CAMELOT VALLEY FARM AUSTRALIA.
WELCOME

100% Australian Honey

Thank you for visiting my farm page, here at Camelot Valley Farm Australia, we aim to not impact the environment while beekeeping, so it keeps us connected to the land and the environment. Bees are like frogs, they are a good indicator of how well the ecosystem is going. They help with pollination of native trees, fruit and vegetables. They support the ecosystems and allow a diverse range of species to co-exist.

CAMELOT VALLEY FARM.

Living in harmony with nature.

The property is mainly bush with some open woodland and the bees produce some lovely honey from -- Broadleaf Ironbarks, Grey Ironbarks, River Red Gums, Sydney Blue Gums, Sydney Golden wattle, Smooth barked Apple, Lemon-scented Gums, Spotted Gums, Grey Box Flooded Gums and Scribbly Gums. The property has a good water supply to ensure the health and wellbeing of our bees, native fauna and flora.

Our honey will have varieties of these gums, which will depend on what is flowering in that season or year. The honey is extracted and packaged on our property in our purpose-built shed, for selling to family, friends and the markets. We produce some fresh fruit, lots of eggs and vegetables for salads, roasts, pickles and jams for our family with some surplus being sold at times. So you will see surplus being sold from here at times, in fresh limited quantities.

Our current goals -- provide a healthy, clean and well-maintained biosecurity for our family, bees and the environment. I’m putting in place an agreement to ensure the bushland, native fauna and flora is protected. We have core Koala and swift parrot habitat and migratory birds visiting. We are active with bird surveys to help with counts of vulnerable birds, frogs and other wildlife. So you might see pictures or videos of them at times on the site.

So when you purchase our honey it goes into ensuring the welfare of our bees, upkeep of the property and growing the business, not too big to impact the current environment. While providing much need information back to www.lls.nsw.gov.au , www.bct.nsw.gov.au and other interested organisations.

We respect the lands of the Worimi People in Port Stephens, we acknowledge the traditional owners of Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging of Worimi nation and extend that respect to other Aboriginal people or Torres Strait Islanders.

What beautiful fauna and flora of this country, we are all connected to.
